2. List as many of your childhood games and toys as you can in the comments section below to win. Describe the games/toys for people who have never had any experience with them. Each game/toy is to be mentioned once only but variations of the same game are welcome.

• The person with the highest number of clearly described games and/or toys will be the first winner and will have the luxury of choosing his/her choice of 3 prizes from the list below. 
• The second winning person with the second highest number of clearly described games and/or toys from childhood will get to choose 1 prize from the remaining list.

POTATO DISH

This recipe is a recipe that I have first learnt from my mum and then my sisters and I have carried on. It makes a great filling breakfast dish but can also be used as a pie or pastry filling. 

Ingredients:

4-5 medium potatoes

1 medium/large onion

Tomato paste

Coriander (powder)

Salt

Black pepper

Chopped parsley (optional)

Olive oil

Method:

Boil and peel the potatoes (it is preferable to boil the potatoes with the skin on and when it cools down enough to touch, then peel). Mash them roughly. In a pan, heat up some oil and fry the chopped onion. Add some tomato paste (about a tablespoonful). Add the mashed potatoes and in medium heat, cook a little until everything is mixed well. Add your seasoning of salt, black pepper and coriander powder and mix again. You can turn the stove off after about 5 minutes. If you like, you can add some chopped fresh parsley to this mixture soon after you turn off the stove. Serve hot.

Vegemite comes from brewer's yeast extract.

SHARPENING SCISSORS

Cut through some aluminum foil. Place about 6-7 layers of aluminum foil on top of each other and cut through it to sharpen your blunt scissors! If it doesn't end with the result you are after after the first go, do it a few more times and you will be impressed!

Note: You can also use some sandpaper to sharpen your scissors with. Just cut into some thin layers of sandpaper and see the difference!
